Bandwidth use: Since satellite beam capacity is resource shared by a number of users, usage is subject to Northwestel's Fair Access Policy. Download and Upload Bandwidth usage cap is the amount of data you can download and upload in an hour before your connection enters a Fair Access Policy mode and your speeds are reduced. When in Fair Accees Policy mode your speeds are reduced to between 15% and 38% of your normal maximum speeds. Your connection will remain in Fair Access Policy mode for a period of 60 mins. At the end of 60 mins, the system will revaluate your usage for last 60 mins. If your transferred data during this period is less than the hourly usage allowance, Fair Access Policy will end on your connection and your speeds will resume back to normal speeds.
